5 short months!
If you talked to me probably just 5 months ago you wouldn't see the person that I am today. You would have seen a timid, insecure girl who didn't really know what her problem was. Now you might see a girl that's a little more confident, a little more outgoing, and a girl that knows that without Jesus, living isn't good enough. I have learned a lot about myself, but more importantly I have learned more about Jesus.
I found a great prayer in Ephesians that I've been going back to for encouragement whenever I need it.
"For this reason I kneel before the Father from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and how long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge - that you may be filled to the measure of all fullness of God.
Now to him who can do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen!"
Ephesians 3:14-21
From doing this Bible Study I have a renewed hunger for God, and a satisfaction that I have not experienced in a long time. I'm not saying I never struggle with these things but I've come a long way. I also feel like I have people around me that I can rely on and can help to keep me accountable. It's been good Di and Rhonda and everyone that has contributed. Thank you for your encouraging words and prayers. Without it I might be still headed down the wrong road. I'm looking forward to the next 5 months to see how much God will work in my life!
